Nothing says Christmas like a shimmering snow globe… but what if you could sip it too?
Bring a little festive magic to your drinks this season with a cocktail that looks as good as it tastes. This DIY snow globe cocktail transforms a simple highball glass into a sparkling winter wonderland…. and yes, it’s drinkable.
Place about 6 fresh cherries at the bottom of a highball glass, leaving a little space in the centre
2
Trim a rosemary sprig and stand it upright in the middle of the glass. Tie it gently with string and tape to keep it straight. It will look like a tiny Christmas tree
3
Pour in enough water to cover the cherries and hold the sprig in place, then freeze until solid. Make sure your glass is freezer-safe
4
Once frozen, carefully remove the string and tape and wipe the condensation from the glass
5
Pour your chilled gin and tonic over the frozen scene. Watch the bubbles dance around the cherries and rosemary, creating a magical snow globe shimmer
6
Spin your glass gently and enjoy your own little white Christmas, down under
