Scotch Sour Cocktail Recipe

A spin on the famous Whiskey Sour, the lemon elevates the scotch’s sweetness while the scotch mellows out the lemon's tartness. The touch of egg whites adds that delicious textural frothiness, with a cherry popped on top for the finishing touch. Harmonious and zesty, there you have it; a stunning Scotch Sour.

    • 60ml Whisky 
    • 30ml lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
    • 15ml simple syrup (combine hot water and sugar)
    • 1 egg white
    • Garnish: lemon twist or cherry
    • 1
      Pour Whisky, lemon juice, the simple syrup and egg white into a shaker

      Dry shake (without ice) for about 20 seconds
    • 3
      Add ice and shake again for a further 20 seconds
    • 4
      Strain into a glass with fresh ice
    • 5
      Garnish with a lemon twist or a cherry
