Batanga Cocktail Recipe

Simple yet delicious, the Batanga combines tequila, fresh lime juice, and Coca-Cola for a refreshing, almost tropical, sweet cocktail. A popular drink in Mexico, it boasts woody and earthy flavours from the el Jimador Blanco Tequila, sweetness from the cola and a tart citrus hit from the lime. Trip to Mexico anyone?

    • 60ml El Jimador Blanco Tequila
    • 180ml Cola
    • 30ml Lime juice
    • Garnish: Lime wedge
    • 1
      Rim a highball glass with salt (run a wedge of lime around the rim to allow the juice to help the salt stick).

      Add some ice to your glass.

      Pour in your tequila and lime juice and stir with a bar spoon.

      Top up your glass with cola.

      Garnish with a lime wheel.
