This whisky is easy on the pallette with its light, fruity flavours. Easy to enjoy and flavours that won’t fight with you.

This is a great staple and perfect for a highball. Add some of this to soda water and a splash to lemon with a bunch of ice and you have yourself a highball. It’s a great staple, it’s not Nikka from the Barrel, it’s not Hibiki or or Chita but it’s a $50 versatile bottle. Which is quite nice on its own or as a mixer..

This is a very light whisky and promised much with some delightful aromas with a touch of overripe fruit On the delivery it was quite drinkable if somewhat uninteresting. So I would say this would be a great mixing whisky or a great introductory whisky but not one for my staples shelf. No peat flavours which I dislike so thats a plus. Closest whisky in ones I have consumed before would be an into Wisers Canadian Whisky

This is something special. Yes, it’s a blend, but goodness, it’s nice. Fans of Canadian club will find a familiar taste here. From the house of Suntory, this japenese whisky is golden, sweet and mellow. The bottle is the usual 700ml, but boy it’s disappears quick at my house. I’m not sure if that’s an illusion given by the very short and squat little bottle? Unlikely. Anyway, I’d recommend giving it a try. Just pour a little, neat, and stick your nose in and take a big whiff - Wow. Such a beautiful aroma. Most other outlets charge about $10 more a bottle, so make sure you pick it up at DM’s. If the ‘cheap’ bottle is this good, I’m very curious about the single malts!

I really enjoyed this scotch. Straight or with soda and lime is quite refreshing. Has more of a smooth taste
