Gentleman’s Sour

This sophisticated sour doesn’t need deep leather sofas with a side of smoky cigars. Just add a Gentlemen Jack Whiskey base to the classic whisky sour. Be sure to give the mix a good shake to don yourself a frothy mo.

Ingredients

  • 60mL Gentleman Jack Whiskey
  • 30mL lemon juice
  • 15mL sugar syrup
  • 15mL egg whites
  • Dash of Angostura bitters

Method

  1. Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add all the ingredients and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds.
  3. Half fill a rocks glass with cubed ice.
  4. Strain the liquid into the glass.
  5. Add a lemon wedge to garnish.
