at least that's how it's touted. Very nice, I admit, but not enough to pull me away from my go-to run-of-the-mill Glenfiddich.

For someone who has never enjoyed scotch whiskey - I’m hooked so lovely and smooth to drink

It is nuty and sweet, a good dram. It is easy to drink dont put too much water.

Gosh, I'm the only lady reviewing this! I had a glass of this on ice on a recent business trip, and it hit the spot beautifully. Smooth, elegant, so easy to drink. I am generally a Speyside fan so I was quite confident I would like it, but didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It is certainly a scotch you could give to a non scotch drinker as well as a Speyside drinker and both should like it.

A very good introduction to single malts. Speyside whiskies like this tend to be very easy to drink - none of the heavy peat or smoke that you find in other whiskies. Definitely recommended but definitely one to get when it's on sale rather than full price.
