Pickled Gin & Tonic Recipe

We think it’s high time someone gave the humble G&T a glow up. And we got tired of waiting. Stunningly simple, this cocktail lets the botanical brilliance of the Roku Japanese Gin shine.

The subtle notes of sansho pepper and yuzu are complimented perfectly by the briny and tangy pickled onions. Topped with a distinctly Japanese flavour, pickled ginger, this garnish brings a bright and zingy top note. The perfect sip to enjoy with a side of sushi.

    • 45ml Roku Japanese Gin
    • 250ml tonic water
    • 6-8 red cocktail onions
    • Pickled ginger to garnish
    • Ice cubes (or spheres if you’re feeling fancy)

      Fill a tall glass with ice and a few red cocktail onions.

      Add Roku Japanese Gin and top with tonic.

      Garnish with an extra cocktail onion and slice of pickled ginger.
