This one’s also a visual treat but with proper presentation. In a heatproof glass, get your coffee, liqueur, rum, caster sugar and mix till dissolved.

Here’s where the magic happens. In a cocktail shaker, get some ice and add the cream. Shake that mf up until it’s cold.
    • 3
Pour the cream on top and enjoy.

Black Russian (Russia, duh)
This one may be the laziest, but still yum.

Get the vodka and coffee liqueur into a tumbler filled with ice and stir gently for 30 secs - 1 min.

      Add the cherry and serve.

If you want to turn it into a tall cocktail, top it up with Cola. 60ml is a good amount, but the world is your oyster.

Barraquito (Canary Islands)
This one’s like a little art project, with layering being the assignment.
Barraquito (Canary Islands)
    • 30ml coffee
    • 15ml frothed milk
    • 2 tablespoons condensed milk
    • Cinnamon to garnish
    • 1
In a small glass (preferably see-through), spoon in the condensed milk so it settles at the bottom.
    • 2
Add in the Licor and then the coffee. If you want to use a dash more Licor after you’ve poured the coffee in, pour on the back of a spoon to gently get the liqueur where it needs to be.
    • 3
Spoon the frothed milk on top and garnish with cinnamon.
    • 4
Mix before drinking – trust us, it’s worth messing up the artwork.
