Great standalone drink would never mix it drink as is to enjoy it's taste

Have tried a few different vodka's in the mid price range (Beluga, Belvedere, Grey Goose, Reyka), and Haku is the smoothest of them so far imo.

Cheap, doesn’t smell or taste like acetone. Smooth with a light alcohol burn before transforming into a subtle floral, citrus sweetness. Very good on the rocks or to disappear into a mix.

This is a perfect example of how the Japanese take a European alcohol, perfect it, and then ruin your chance of enjoying anything else in the category ever again because it is made so well. I have tried a wide range of vodkas, from the hard to find Russian and eastern block stuff, to the Scandanavian and Austro-Franco-Germanic labels... and I am talking about the proper stuff you drink straight, not for mixing with toxic sugar water. This is the cleanest, smoothest tasting Vodka on the market, and the lowest price point compared to its competition which is at least three times the price. Perfect to drink neat or on the rocks. Also superior to all other vodkas when it comes to hardening up other drinks, from mead to ginger beer to a simple spiked cup of coffee.

Quite possibly my favourite Vodka, and I drink excessively! Just needs to come in a larger bottle, 700mL is not enough! Drink it chilled over purified ice.
