Good Wiskey to have with Pepsi Max or any other mixer to get rid of the tast

A really nice drop, over ice in big tumbler, don't be afraid to take a big sip and then slowly let it dribble down the back of the tongue!

It has a few of negative things going for it - it's a blend, it's made by a big name, it's far from perfect. However, there is no doubt some seriously high quality whisky has gone into making this blend. It's got smoke, sweet, spice...it has its merits!

Not many blends come into their own. But this is very nice for the price. One of the few blends that can be enjoyed by most even non whisky drinkers

I really don't understand what the point is with this . It seems this has been dumbed down to appeal to people who don't like drinking scotch . This is thin and lacking any substance . Very little flavor to be found . If this was at cask strength 50% or more it would be fine , but at this strength i can't recommend it . Gold label has plenty of flavor , i was thinking this should be more of the same but better . I couldn't be more wrong . Its not that this tastes bad , its just that it has no taste !

This is my favourite JW whisky. It demonstrates exactly what a good blend should: balance. It has a wonderful smokiness with a little peat and feels more grown up than the cheaper JW stuff. I have a smile on my face every time I drink this. Not as hard on the hip pocket as blue label, but still has a sense of occasion when opening a bottle. Definitely recommend
