This Whisky has a deep colour to it, sweet flavours of spicy perfume ensue. Keeping it in your mouth and swilling it around bring out an amazing aroma and spices arise after swallowing. Certainly recommend Spey River!

Very smooth easy drinking single malt, very good value. Good straight or with a dash of ice.

It is a disaster Scotch Whisky, not aged properly and the taste very unpleasant. I will never ever buy this Scotch Whisky in the future. It seems to me this Whisky is made by fermented 100% drinkable alcohol from potatos.

I tried this, based on the majority great reviews. I must have received one of the dodgy bottles referred to in some of the minority reviews. I had a mate who dabbled in distilling. He'd make a clean white spirit and mix a whiskey flavouring into it. Spey River was worse! The white spirit flavour was unbearable, and overpowered the very mild whiskey flavour. I was forced to commit a cardinal sin, which I haven't done for 30 years...I mixed my precious whiskey with a soft drink!! Even then, the white spirit flavour was obvious.

THIS WAS THE SECOND BOTTLE IN 2 WEEKS. IT'S GOT TO BE OK FOR THAT TO HAPPEN.

we ve all heard the nursery rhyme..there was a little girl, who had a little curl...point of story, when she was good, she was very good, when she was bad, she was horrid. I cant account for the variations, some are way too white spirit, some are full fruity malty warmth, its not only spey, Im finding it with many now. Take the bad ones back, savour the good ones !!
