Teeling Irish Coffee
Yeah, there are a million Irish coffee recipes out there - but THIS one uses brown sugar syrup and plenty of thickened cream.
Ingredients
- 40mL Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
- 80mL brown sugar syrup (50% sugar, 50% hot water)
- 120mL fresh coffee
- Double cream
- Optional garnish: nutmeg
Method
- Preheat glass with warm water and discard.
- Add Teeling Whiskey, 80ml brown sugar syrup and 120ml freshly brewed coffee and stir to combine.
- Warm a large spoon and gently pour the cream over the back of the spoon and onto the drink.
- Optional: Garnish with a light dusting of grated nutmeg.
