The best garnish for your Aperol Spritz

Look, we all love an Aperol Spritz. Summery, fresh… and the quickest way to get to Europe this side of your friends’ IG Stories. So here’s how you can elevate the drink to something a little more spesh. Best of all, you only need two ingredients.

Introducing… (drum roll for dramatic effect)… the Aperol Bomb.

Aperol Bombs
    • For the bomb:

250ml orange juice (pulp is ok, if you’re weird like that)

      Sage leaves

Note: what’s gonna really make these nice is a round ice mould (oranges aren’t squares, obvs). Lucky for you, the high-end department store Kmart has you covered.

    • For the Aperol Spritz:

90ml prosecco or sparkling white wine

      60ml Aperol

      30ml soda water

    • 1
In your ice moulds, pour the orange juice, then put the top of the ice tray back on.
    • 2
Slowly (and we mean slowly) fill the tray with more juice until it’s almost full.
    • 3
Through the little holes, carefully place the sage leaves so that only the stem is submerged. This makes it look like an orange - cute! Place them in the freezer until they’re solid.

When you’re ready to unveil your masterpiece, add Aperol and soda water to a glass, then drop in your mini orange bomb.

When serving, top with prosecco and enjoy!
