Captain Obvious’s review is spot on. This is stunning. Why Dan Murphy is no longer stocking it is mystifying (like the same decision that was apparently made about Kreglinger). This is a classic fino - full bodied but bone dry. The negative reviewers may have mistaken this for something that it’s not.

This is the best Fino sherry made in Australia (now called Apera to appease the Spanish) and one of the best in the world. Far better than the Spanish sherrys at twice the price which, in comparison, lack body and are heavily wooded (to hide the faults). Pity Dan Murphy's doesn't stock this anymore. Not sure why other reviewers gave this 1 star... it appears from their reviews they thought it was wine and thought it tasted "funny".
