This wine is way too sweet. I am familiar with Pinot Gris (and Pinot Grigio) but this wine really has no backbone or acidity to carry it and is bit flabby, without any firmness to its finish. It certainly has flavour but it's out of balance. I struggle to think of a food match except perhaps a hot Thai curry when you would be glad of anything to counteract the chilli. Given its premium price, I couldn't recommend it. it's a shame because Villa Maria make some great wines. I just don't think this is one of them.

Most enjoyable, my favorite choice each time. winter or Summer - with or without food.

A true testament to New Zealand wine making, i love enjoying this wine with any and all seafood. The soft fruity notes, coupled with a zesty finished make this a great wine best shared with friends and family.

A lovely light fresh and not overly fruity easy drinking wine. Not too acidic or heavy.

Enjoyable summer wine. Good price. Always available. I drink it on special occasions. Light fruity flavor great with seafood.
