I liked the ceremony of poring the Absinthe over the sugar cube then lighting it. Wait till it goes out then stir it into the Absinthe with water until disolved. i used a tea strainer as I couldn’t find an Absinthe spoon and it worked just as well. The flavour is a bit aniseed and a bit herbaceous. I liked it, and found it refreshing. However don’t forget that it is 60proof

I found it to be such a weak analogy to Mythe Absynthe. No distinct taste and no uplifted, almost euphoric sensation in the head that Mythe creates. Waste of money. Won't buy again.

Just tried this the traditional way poured over a sugar cube ( which I waited weeks to get a sall stores were out) lit on fire to caramelise then tipped in and mixed with a small amount of water. Absolutely delicious

Downed some with my mates and was proper cooked my the end off it. When it comes back up it proves to be good fertiliser for the garden. 10/10 would recommend.

Downed a third of a bottle one night. Woke up to a thousand words of gibberish that I had written. All hail absinth. the ultimate cure for writer's block!
