I have been drinking this for the past fifteen years and it just keeps getting better with age. Put it aside for 5-10 years, or buy an older vintage if you can't wait for cellearing and enjoy the smooth luscious flavour.

This is a stunning example of a young vintage fortified (even though it's almost a decade old). Rich fruit and chocolate flavours with just enough sweetness. It should age very well and continue to develop for decades. Buy one now to taste but keep a dozen locked away for a future special occasion. This is the fortified I would buy at the birth of a child to open at the child's 21st birthday. The corks used are high quality and I have yet to have one leak. Tawny does not age in the bottle but vintage fortified wine does, it's just a pity more people don't know about this. In its price range it's hard to beat.
