Still a very good drop in the colder months, doesn’t quite have the same impact as Stones Green Ginger wine which has been my go to favourite for years, but I would definitely recommend this to a friend who may prefer the more subtle taste of ginger. Well priced and certainly worth the money. Give it a try

Tried as an alternative to the ever reliable Stone's and this one is not a patch on the spicy ginger goodness from the original and the best. Artificial tasting with no real ginger hit, just bit of lemon/citrus. Spend the extra (or buy a big bottle) and stick to the best - Stone's

I tried this as it was on special much cheaper than the Stones ginger wine (which is fabulous with soda water). Unfortunately it doesn't have the same depth of flavour. It's drinkable but I probably won't buy it again as I prefer Stones.

This Ginger Wine has lifted spice aromas with candied ginger nuances. Slightly sweet on the palate with pronounced fiery, ginger root, raisins and pepper characters. Subtle citrus flavours of lemon rind are present, while the sweetness appears more like fresh honey leaving a warm and balanced taste to finish.
