One of the smoothest chardonnay's from Margaret River for under $15.00. Hard to fault this wine.

Having always relied on Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay I thought I'd be adventurous and try something else. Tried Taylors and Peter Lehman [trying to stay in the price range]. A friend of mine enjoys and always offers Leuwin Estate Chardonay. love it but outside a Vets pocket money. Eventually came across Brookland Valley by chance. Have been to their Vinyard. All you say about this wine is true peach, grapefruit and a creamy finish. I'm converted.

Got this wine today to make Greek lamb, and, for the price, it's not amazing. The wine is creamy, with only subtle acidity, but displays a notable 'cheap' taste and smell that honestly ruins the experience. Fine for cooking, not so great for drinking. That said, it's not terrible - I've had worse, but I've definitely had better. For a similar price, you could get Penfold's Koonunga Hill chardonnay, or Ta Ku's pinot gris and be far better off.
