I think the other reviews written on this one are fake. This wine had some pep and zing but overall it lacked fruitiness, lacked nose and tasted too sharp. I expected more from this $35 bottle.

Wow what a surprise! An amazing drop. Take your time drinking this beauty, after ten minutes in the glass the aromas really started to come to the forefront. The tingle of Lemon giving that gentle but teasing sherbet like kick with a smooth buttery texture that helps it slide to the back of your mouth with gusto. A glance at your glass shows that this is not going to be short on alcohol yet once in your palate it’s perfectly balanced with real length. A wine to spend time with. Just wishing it wasn’t Easter Friday as I would be knocking Dans door down for more of this nectar from the gods.

The best i nvr tasted in Australia! I tried 2008 last year and had 2010 in Margaret river at last Dec! Can't forget the taste of Pierro SSB and that's why i visited Margaret River. Pierro is the first vineyard to produce SSB in Australia. They are really the pioneer of SSB! The sunbeam color with light-mid body. Starts with mouth watering flavours with Lemon, slightly Melon, passion-fruit and some other summer fruits. The few percentage of Chardonnay adds a little bit of buttery and brings up the complexity, also helps to rich the flavours. Clear bone structure with great aging of potential. Finish with crisp and long aftertaste. Exactly valuable SSB in Australia and must try item! Slightly chilled before served. Prefect with shellfish and other seafood. Recommend to drink it after few years.
