I drink Paulaner and Weihenstephaner on a a fairly regular basis, and this was dissapointing in comparision. Clear throughout without the cloudiness of the other two and with a slightly 'off' taste.

This is quite possibly the best australian brewed beer I've ever had. Full rounded flavour and not overly carbonated and not over-hopped. Moo Brew never fail to impress me.

Agree completely with some of the comments previously. Seems to be overcarbonated, lacked the 'hefe' (cloudiness) and taste of a TRADITIONAL Hefeweizen beer as claimed (Caveat: I have not tried in bottle so perhaps different - probably not though as same brew). Have spent lot of time in Germany sampling many a hefeweizen (including smaller regional breweries). This does not seem up to par (did I get an off batch ??). For the same volume and price as a six pack of this,do yourself a favour and pick up 4 bottles of Weihenstephaner, Franziskaner or Schofferhofer Orange

If you want a good Hefeweizen try schoffer hoffer instead

I let this sit in my fridge overnight as I was astounded by the overflow everytime I opened a can the day before. This is a good true copy of a belgian Hefe as it has the clove notes and very little banana on the palate or aftertaste. WAY over gassed in the tin though and impossible to open without leaving 10% of the beer in the sink. Something is not right there. Great beer, poor execution in the can.

Great looking in the can. I am a fan of wheat beer, particularly on warmer days. Alas, whilst a good looking can there may have been a seal problem. The beer poured into the glass flat and without a head. For a premium product at a premium price this was disappointing. Conversely, the Moo Brew pale ale in the can was delicious, poured as you would expect with a nice creamy head.
