While I am personally not into sparkling reds myself, my daughter, her husband and his family are! We were heading their place for a BBQ and I thought I would bring a couple of bottles as a token gesture. Well! I should have brought a 6 pack, they loved it so much, they said it was like Christmas pudding in a glass. When I told them where I had purchased and the price they all agreed to go a buy more :):) Although, I am still not a fan the family loved it

This wine got me into Sparkling Shiraz! easy to drink and delicious.

At this price point I don't expect a Rockford, or even a Langmeil, but... My wife and I are fiends for a good sparkling red, so we thought this mid-priced offering might be ok. It's not. It's thin, pale, too-sweet. You know how a good bubbly holds its bubbles, and it takes a few goes to fill the glass? This stuff poured a full flute in one go. You'd do better filling a soda stream bottle with some cask red, topping it with a little sugar syrup and zapping it with CO2. I'm not even sure whether to try to use the remainder for cooking.
