Quite typical characters of dark cherry, cranberry and damp earth are all on display here in this Pikes Wines Luccio Sangiovese. Also just a hint of dried wild flowers evident too. As always, the fine drying tannins and cleansing acidity are features of this quite juicy, cherry & cranberry flavoured palate. Sangiovese is always more savoury than sweet in its profile, the tannins and acid combining to give length and drive.
