Very overpriced for its quality and taste. Never again. Just plain nasty.

Very plain nose. Strong liquor but gave me a headache with just one large drink. Two days running. I shall try it again today and give it another go.......but.....nah!

On the nose it has potential, notes of caramel, dark chocolate and nuts. Sadly the taste does not match. Tastes like a shine soaked in woodchip, harsh lingering burn which sits oddly on the back of the tongue. Lacks depth and has a very strange taste. This whisky is poor compared to their other products and overpriced. Would not even buy this for a family member I dislike.

To date making my way through the bottle. Its okay, not offensive but I dont think i'll buy again. The nose is a caramel/butterscotch and now reviewing right now off the back of a Limeburners Solera has just made this Archie Rose really interesting. (Funny how you palate plays witht you). The arrival has really surprised me. Im now getting a smoke which I wasnt getting before, and I'm gonna say a eucalyptus smoke. Its not complex and there's very little if any finish, but a really interesting taste. Its okay but nothing to write home about.
