Even though Dan Murphy's is more expensive than anywhere else around town no matter where I am it always seems to be the closest and convenience cost money at the end of the day so I highly recommend buying this from here but make sure you go in store only so you don't get misled to believe that you were going to save $2 but rather instead get a wonderful benevento, alberti, or, strega umbrella to choose from in your hands in reality rather than in your mind online

Viscous, syrupy sweet. Lurid yellow. Minty coolness, aniseed or fennel. More going on like pine, soft liquorice. I like a nip of it straight and you can have it with ice, mixers, in cocktails. This is the digestif you see in The Godfather movie. I think the second one. There's nothing nice about Italian organised crime but when a movie about Italian Americans made by the very ethnicity features a drink recommendation then take note. Troppo caro. Too expensive. Drink it slowly or make it yourself if you can get the recipe. It's probably out there somewhere.

A wonderfully delicious drink that is great on its own or in desserts. A shame about the price though - far too expensive!

Highly recommend Strega to drink, great on the rocks or just straight, very smooth. Down side - VERY expensive compared to other Italian Liqueurs, should be maximum around $45.

Way way overpriced......................thought you guys were the cheapest and the best??
