I would recommend this to a friend!
Really enjoyed this one. Coming from the early days of Suntory whiskeys (Yamazaki, Hakushu, Hibiki) before their price and popularity exploded, I wondered if anything would be able to compete but I was pleasantly surprised at Christmas with this bottle. Let it breathe with a single chunk of ice, after a few minutes it evolves into a top drop. Smooth, rounded and enjoyable. I won't be waiting for Christmas for another one.

It offers a unique fusion of flavors with a crisp citrus nose, espresso coffee palate, and Mizunara oak finish. Malt Whiskey

Fresh wood barrel dominates the spirit with a touch of vanilla and flowers that bring to breath of nectar, maltose, tones of fruits citrus, mizunara oak & coffee beans; medium wood integration, then finish with a sweet aftertaste of maltose. Summary: very smooth, rounded full pallet and easy to drink. Colour: mahogany. Nose: fresh wood barrel dominates the spirit with a touch of vanilla and flowers and slight honey suckle. Palate: maltose, a little bit tones of fruits citrus, mizunara oak, coffee beans. Finish: woody & back to sweet aftertaste of maltose.
