Like the peppery after taste and the smoothness of the initial mouth full. No need to pay hundreds for a good whisky.

A very sweet and easy to drink beauty. No need to brace yourself for salt or smoke flavours. This is a clean a taste as you can get and a great entry level dram

Such a great whiskey. Punches way way above it's price tag. I'm a huge fan of more expensive whiskeys, nant, Oban etc. Dimple was my base whiskey until I was given this as a present and I looooove this one. The bourbon barrel flavour just makes this one and now I've always got a bottle of this open in my collection.

Smooth enough to drink neat but distinct enough to use in a mixed drink. Actually prefer it over Jameson's. Definitely worth giving a go!

My daughter gave me a Dan Murphy's father's day gift card. whiskey choices were almost impossible to make. I talked to a staff member who appeared to have some knowledge of the subject. He pointed me in the direction of Dubliner and I found he was bang on the money. It took a little while to open up and when it did the first thing that hit me was strawberries and cream lollies. I use a Glencairn glass and a drop of water to free the oils. Lots of honey and vanilla in the background. Teardrops on the glass slide down slowly. Aromatic and quite sweet, similar to Spey side whiskies. I could not detect any peat, not to say it isn't there. I could find eucalyptus and licorice on tasting: I found sweet caramels and more honey flavours, like Manuka honey. Smooth and soft and a lingering aftertaste. On the downside, there is a slight persistence of cough medicine but hidden until the taste buds change. Thanks to my daughter, a great freebie.
