Excellent example of a NZ pinot. Goes well with lamb and duck dishes

It is rare that you find a wine that gets worst with every sip, but we have ladies and gentlemen! Sharp, biter and one dimensional. This Pinot noir does not exhibit any characteristics that would identify it as a pinot. If you are looking for soft aromatic floral rose complexities that remind you of the french countryside in summer, it will not be found it here. The price point is another shocker considering $5 cooking wine might actually be more enjoyable, and the fact it is recommended is mind boggling? Not even sure why Dan Murphy is stocking this much less promoting it? One of the few wines that makes you want a refund at a $30 price point?

I have tasted better for the price range. I wouldn’t buy it again. I prefer the Penfolds or the TK Runholder

I've read many good reviews about this wine, so wanted to try myself when it was on member offer for $35 recently. Well, I was probably expecting too much??? Honestly, it wasn't that great with a bit of sharp taste in it. Wonder if it's just my bottle(2021). I don't think I would buy this wine again. Quite disappointing. Money well spent to clear up my curiosity though. Should I try super nanny then??

A delicious easy drinking drop at a good price. A definite must try.
