This wine is exceptional….won’t buy any other Merlot now….full of berry flavour and light on the palate.

Excellent Merlot…probs won’t even bother any other now…

Sweet tannins with tobacco and dark berry notes on the nose. Blackcurrant with some dark cherry flavour on the palate. Finished with dry long powdery tannins with some sweetness and alchohol feel. Simple drink but a bit too sugary for me. Nice with bolognase tho.

A wine that lacks character, body and altogther disappointing - dont let me buy this wine again.

Paul Mas Cabernet Sauvignon Vignobles was recommended by my cousin who came to visit us in Australia, as a wine which combined reasonable flavour and was easy on the head as confirmed by residual sugar and acidity levels (his wine specialist analysis in Germany). It was incredible how well this wine was tolerated: no headaches no tipsiness and a very reasonable flavour. Now someone has found a way to subvert the very reasons we drink it and it become the cheep plonk with all the attached problems including headache, palpitations and sleep disruption. Bad Bad Bad who are those people who spoil a perfectly good and cost effective country wine which is supposed to be a health drink Au revoir Paul Mas you let me down

Strong tannins and a delicious, fruity bouquet. This wine is quite dry with only just a hint of fruit. Insane value for money although I'm pretty sure there's better Merlot out there for higher prices. Note that for some it may be a bit too dry.
