This wine always delivers rich, satisfying vintages. This'un in particular has classier oak management that exposes spicy notes within a sweet and savoury palate ,satisfying but not heavy. When Adelaide Hills get due stellar provenance , this producer will be complicit. In all my imaginings I detect numerous elements not too dissimilar from tighter offerings from Mt Langhi, which is pretty high praise. Regardless of style I’ll buy it. Happily living only half an hour away is absolutely no source of bias at all.

My favourite red. Have been drinking this for a while, I never get sick of it. Just - soft, "big", juicy, slurpy, fruity, lots of flavours and easy tannins. This Adelaide Hills wine is a cut above its similarly priced peers from the Barossa. Drinks just as well the next night (if not better). My Friday night indulgence.
