It is a very good red wine which goes nice with a meal.

Tried the Macaw Creek Shiraz with no preservatives and was an instant fan....nice fruit with good flavours...fresh and youthful but no headache due to no sulphites...its a winner for me

Pleasant surprise. I tend to avoid preservatives and go organic where possible. With this filter, wines available tend to be at a higher price point. However when I got this Shiraz on special, I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone at the table loved it!

A very simple wine. No complexity and very light on flavour. I've had cask wines with more interesting flavour. The only reason you'd buy this wine is because you have an allergy to preservatives. Otherwise look elsewhere for something more interesting.

To be honest I'm not the most favorite fan of a Shiraz however, after trying a few different brands of this surprising wine I find myself changing my mind on this variety. There have been 2 Shiraz wines that I have tried which aren't overpowering with the peppery after taste. The Macaw Creek Preservative Free Shiraz is one such wine that we have enjoyed. This wine rolls easy off the palate and has a vibrant feel on the way down, with just the right amount of hot and spice on the tail end. Will definitely be stocking up the wine rack with this surprising red.
