deBortoli Shiraz is an excellent Australian red wine made with the very idea of a good earthy - ballsy - Shiraz in the Barossa tradition. I’m a Barossa Shiraz aficionado yet the price and pedigree herein represent great value and an even greater true red wine experience. I buy it in the cask since it’s difficult to find it in the bottle in the bottle shops in my area. I assure you however - I found it on the shelf recently in a little bottle shop in a country town 150 klm north east of Melbourne. Merely 50 klm from the deBortoli cellar door. A happy find.

For a cask wine, was very suprising. Not quite at bottle standard but well worth the price.
