I’ve not tried the $90 muscats. For the price this is a reasonable buy. It’s a bit better than the Morris (which is also good but a little cheaper), and materially better than the Buller which is cheaper again. The only other muscat I’ve tried is the Greek Limnos muscat. It used to be about $12 which is reasonable, but now it’s almost $19, and at this price it’s a joke to be avoided. I’ve tried the Buller Topaque, but it’s far less interesting than the Morris muscat or the Stanton and Killeen.

I've tried all the muscats at Dan Murphy's and this is super top-shelf. Sweet and smooth, a perfect after-dinner drink with chocolate or cheese, relaxing by the fire in your comfy chair. This is the bottle I'd take if the Queen invited me to dinner!
