I’m sorry to say but after tasting it my wife and I both agreed to pour it down the sink we thought it was that bad. She loves merlot, I love sparkling reds but we just couldn’t drink this, and it wasn’t a cheapie either. It is only the second bottle ever we’ve done that to. The first being a black durif from a mixed dozen years ago. Maybe we got a bad one, don’t know, won’t ever buy it again.

I was advised to try the Sparkling Merlot over the Sparkling Shiraz and much prefer it. I will be back for more

This is one of the yummiest sparkling Merlot's we have ever tasted (and growing up in the Coonawarra I have tasted a lot of wine). It is a rich wine with a light fruity flavour. We have it with any meal - but is especially good with game meats (venison, kangaroo etc). It has also been suggested to us to have it with fruitcake as it will enhance the flavour (something we are yet to try).
