Its not bad for making Pisco Sour..(cocktail) .but just to clarify, it does come from the line of "Brandy" but is specifically from Peru...The name comes from the town where it was first produced called "Pisco".. it is located to the south of Lima ..google it if you want. Yes Chile also make their version of it,how ever it is produced differently..As for their name, they changed a name of the town where they produced it, and renamed the town "Pisco Elkin"..in an attempt to get rights to the drink... In Pisco competitions and spirits competitions around the world..Peruvian Pisco frequently wins... This Pisco is good for Pisco Sours, or mix it with Lemonade...enjoy!

Pisco is not a brandy. "Pisco" is what it is, it was originated in BOTH Peru and Chile. If you want flavour go Peru, if you want quality go Chile. It is a type of spirit, its great for mixes. This one is a good quality Pisco, certainly not the best, but good. I wish they brought more variety of Pisco, its such a great drink people are missing out on, much more enjoyable than the overrated vodka (here in Australia). Pisco adds taste and much more.
