This is a fresh, floral and nicely balanced viognier that works well with stir-fried chicken dishes, vegetarian dishes or fish. It is very versatile. There are hints of orange zest, jasmine and back-notes of honey, although it finishes clean and dry. If you haven't had viognier before, be prepared for a lovely, perfumed, enticingly exotic, value for money dry white wine.

The 2013 is mildly woody, rich and has good length. A good compliment for dishes with a high (blue) cheese content. Off dry so ideal for the palate that is not accustomed to bone dry whites. If your preference is for lightly wooded white wines then this is a prime example. For those who don't like wooded whites, it won't be overpowering. No noticeable acidity. Serve ice cold.
