I bought a bottle plus some roederer fizz to take along for my birthday dinner knowing that friends were bringing some special red. The wine was underwhelming to say the least. I might as well have bought some cleanskins which would probably have had a better flavour. Nothing on the mid palate and no finish at all. All in all a real waste of money. Hardly typical of the Chablis style which I like very much. To quote your recommendation :- stone and lemon zest. A fantastic old school style of Chablis that also offers fantastic value for money for a wine at this quality level.. I think not....................
