A premium red wine, can’t go wrong with any Langmeil wine

A great tasting, excellent value red from my favourite Barossa winery!!

I have been drinking this wine for a while now and tripped over it in a write up in the Dan Murphy wine guide. It is lighter that a shiraz and yet still has a full body. Compares favourably with other more expensive varieties.

Got me thinking about Penfolds Bin 138, which is considerably more expensive. I’m curious to know how other drinkers rate this compared to Penfolds Bin 138 ... any comments please?

2018---It has the characteristics of a light Shiraz, certainly not rich that's for sure. It has a rather Pleasant lingering finish but I was expecting something a bit more full bodied, definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

I have been purchasing this wine for some years now, I can't even remember how I came across this lovely drop, but I certainly recall my Mother-In-Law's response upon tasting....She was a bit of a connoisseur of reds and extremely particular regarding overly high tannin content and had fallen in love with it as much as my wife and I did. Not a quaffer in my opinion, but more suited to a meal of, in our case, Duck, Beef & Lamb. Can't believe my non-red loving wife even thinks it's quite a special drop. (On the quiet, I will just say I reckon I COULD readily quaff this without food any day if given the chance).
