Excellent Chardonnay for the price. Smooth and well balance with no over dominant characteristics.

This is a very nice wine - nicely balanced with very nice light oak. We drank this wine pretty cold but I suspect it would benefit with less chill. It is not a "big" wine but the flavours do linger on the palate. And the 2008 is not showing any significant bottle age - still crisp. Dan's price is about right (although Tassie wines tend to be on the expensive side). So if you like this style of direct, clean, crisp chardy and the mid 20's is your price range then this wine is a definite try - if it does not delight it certainly will not offend. A big plus with this wine - and presumably it has everything to do with how the grapes are grown and processed etc - there is no after effect. So enjoy!
