This is the best pinot that I have had for a while - and at $25 it is the most expensive. It tastes like a genuine pinot from the Coldstream area of Yarra Valley. However it is not big on fruit - and is unlikely to live on in the bottle. At the dollars - it needs to be more than average - and it probably is. Would I buy a dozen - No. Would I buy another one - possibly - but not at $25. As a less than $20 everyday drinker - I would be happy.

Absolutely delicious. Strawberry, cherry and some nice oak influence. And amazing value.

My personal rule of thumb is spend more than $35 on a Pinot Noir. This one from Punt Road just proves that unfortauntely. I thought it was alright but not typical. It was far to earthy with charred tannins. It did improve with food.
