This is what I enjoy. Only enjoy this wine as the taste is soft and not dry

This is a very good value daily drinking wine. At such a low price, it offers subtle fruitiness and strength, the mouth feel is quite pleasant and the after taste is good too. Can't ask for more...

The Stanley Cask wine is good value for money and has good taste. In my opinion it's as good as some of the dearer wines. However I do have one criticism of Dan Murphy. They do not put those cask wines that need cooling in the cooler. Surely a sample of whites in the cask ought to be available from the cool room. First Choice always keep a range of the popular white cask wines in their cool room. No reason why Dan Murphy can't do the same. I wonder if anything will be done about this.

A wine maker told me if you want to drink cask wine only drink a grape type, never a blend, this wine is Chardonnay only that grape can go into the wine, where as if you choose 'Dry White" any rubbish can be blended into that cask, Stanley 4 L Chardonnay cask has been consistently good quaffing wine for many years.

We always buy Stanley Chardonnay. We consider it is the best value buy of any cask.
