A good wine if you're wanting a change from mainstream varieties! value for money :)

I put in a bottle so I know how much I am drinking. I live in a hot climate so it works great with ice as a refreshing cool drink without a hangover!! Only cask wine I drink.

I have always drank bottled wine around $15 per bottle, but since retiring & now a pensioner I decided to try the cask again (drank it in my 20’s)…I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. I did some research and it seems not as many preservatives as in bottles as it is a sealed blabber that air cannot get into. I keep my bottles for visitors or special occasions.. and casks for daily use

A nice crisp wine, easy to drink with ANY meal, I pour it in empty wine bottles and put in freezer for a nice cold drink

This Verdelho was a surprise discovery on a recent visit to buy one red and one white. Today I went back to buy another Verdelho only to find it was no longer in stock. Hopefully it will be in again soon as it is an excellent white with a distinct taste all of it's own. If you see it try it, better than the blends.

Not sweet and cloying. Raisin like overtones to cover any acidity present. Ideal companion instead of opening a bottle for a quick meal. Also equal to the occasion of sipping and watching the sun go down with some cheese and biccies.
