Don't get me wrong . . . This is my favourite drink. Straight . . .nothing else. But this is not the original Galliano. Same bottle. same colour. But what happened to sweet herbally taste that bit your tongue as you drank it. I still have an original bottle. it was 35%alc/vol, made in Italy and it wasn't vanilla. I feel cheated. I guess the secret ancient formula got lost.

I went to the local DM as I tend to buy my liquor there. I took a printed copy of a similar product price from BWS to buy some Galliano for my wife. However the person at the checkout may not have had much computer skill as he tried to look up a comparative price for some Galliano Vanilla and could only arrive at your shelf price which was $16 per bottle dearer than BWS. So guess what? I drove down to BWS and bought 3 bottles !!!!

A classic that neve grows old...put on harvey wallbangers and fire engines for the ladies...and bundaberg black for the men at my last birthbay blowout....i just wish it came in a bigger bottle If you are going to drink vodka and orange...do yourself a favour and float some galliano on the top...1 harvey wallbanger...so much better
