Sadly I feel a little jipped. It was a member's special and I was after some Brandy. Once I got home and actually read the label, I note that not one place on the bottle does it actually state that it's a Brandy. I thought this was odd as it is advertised as a Brandy. Instead, as I read I came to realise that this might have been a brandy however it is adulterated by (diluted by) Muscot wines. This is not Brandy. Please cease to advertise it as such. I do honestly expect better from my favourite Bottle O. Come on Dan.

We absolutely love Metaxa! We do not mind is it is the 5 star, 7 star or 12 star. Each of them is very drinkable and feels luxurious. We have a nip most evenings, in winter we warm it slightly. What a lovely tipple.

Good nose and palette. Fair price. Reminiscent of much over priced regional French equivalents.

Metaxa 5 star brandy is discusting 2000 hours of sunshine or not it tastes like poison.

I first tried Metaxa few years back in Europe found it very smooth and very nice to drink, this is a first time I saw it here and first time, thanks to member's special we could afford to buy it. Many thank, Dan Murphy.

Definitely wouldn't buy this product again. Unusual flavour, doesn't sit on the palate well at all.
