I’ve tried a number of the Geoff Weaver wines and this was a standout. We really enjoyed it!

The summer of 1998 is when my partner started her love affair with Cloudy Bay, I was too busy enjoying our stash of 83 & 84 Elizabeths to understand what all the fuss was about. Then one night in late 2002 at a friend’s party that all changed. As a Geoff Weaver 02 Sav-Blanc was poured into my glass, I remember being shell shocked by the mass aromas wafting from the glass and it took me some time before I approached it. The mouth too was filled with all the aromas that the bouquet had promised but what set this wine part was the length and mouth water acidity, something I had only experience in very young high quality Riesling. Master winemaker Geoff Weaver, keep weaving the magic.

All of the Geoff Weaver wines I've tried are fantastic. You can't go wrong. Perfect choice for a casual dinner with friends, or a special occasion/anniversary. Beautiful length and subtlety.

Enjoyed this lovely white at Man Tong, Crown Casio. Will definitely be heading to Dans to stock up.
