Scarborough was always a safe harbour for lovers of old style Chardonnay, but not anymore. Butter, vanilla, oak etc have all been replaced by stone fruit, pineapple and so on. Sadly now catering to the Sauvignon Blanc crowd. Not for me anymore.

My husband and I enjoy rich buttery Chardonnays' and this one is beautiful. Rich, creamy and so easy to drink, a really enjoyable wine to share with special friends. Don't get me wrong it's not a sweet kind of chardy it's just luscious and you can drink it with almost anything. Highly recommend this one.

If you love a full flavored buttery chardonnay, do yourself a favour and buy some, try it, then hightail it back to the store before they sell out, can be hard to find.

I am predominantly a Chardonnay drinker and struggle to find full flavored Chardonnay's without having to resort to spending $30+ on a bottle of wine when it isn't a special occasion--this means I often find myself wandering aimlessly through the aisles looking for something to match the quality of Scarborough's range of Chardonnay's. I am a massive fan of their Chardonnay range (and have been for over 10 years) and would recommend it to anyone in a heart beat. While young wines are very drinkable, vintages of 3 plus years makes an enormous difference. Unfortunately I usually have to order from the cellar door because very few places stock it--but when I do find it, I usually buy out the shop.
