Easy to drink and a nice smooth white wine that makes for a great wine rack staple. It is on the drier side but does feel like a lighter white than most and I really enjoyed drinking it. It left an after taste with citrus and floral notes. I would recommend this bottle. The Marlbrough Pinot Gris from Isabel Estate is an easy-drink drop option for the dry-white wine lovers. While on the dry-side, it has the softer floral notes that give it that smoother and lighter feeling (though is it still strong at 7 standards a bottle) and would make for a perfect pairing with a cheese platter or white sauce pasta meal. I will definitely be purchasing this wine again. It's dry but not so dry that it is kind of bitter tasting like other wines I have tried. It has a citrus taste to it and is so beautiful and smooth.
