I would recommend this to a friend!
Lovely texture, soft palate without any bitterness. A well balanced yet not overly flavoured wine. I enjoyed this bottle over two evenings, using a vacuvin to store for one day. A good result .
In my view, for the money, a very good choice and well worth it.

The elevated slopes of the Nizza DOCG (within the Barbera d'Asti region) are now being recognised as the premier region for the barbera wines of Piedmont. The wine produced there by the Chiarlo family is a clear and elegant expression of the grape - red fruit, mature cherry, raspberry and the sweet notes of tobacco, with complex, structured and impressive fresh softness and roundness, and a pleasing, savoury finish.
