Being relatively new to red wine drinking & having many favourites from Australia (Tasmanian Pinot Noir in particular), I have made a decision to test out different Countries & varieties. This is my first Malbec from Argentina & although I did like it, nice colour & lovely berry notes, it was a little too acidic for me. Next stop Spain & a Tempranillo

A good rounded Malbec from Mendoza. Excellent value for money full of flavour and depth. A very good drinking wine as well as one to accompany food.

Aromas of cinnamon spiced Mocha and fresh black berries and plums float from the glass with hints of Grandpa's pipe tobacco wafting in. The dark chocolate lined palate shows fresh black berries, black currant, plum and morello cherries with lovely chewy fine chocalately tannin that lingers.
