In this time of watering down formerly great Aussie beers and heavily over-priced boutique beers, this ale stands rare amongst the current crop of Australian offerings. It certainly does display those malty over-tones that a good ale should, whilst also supplying enough of a diverse taste structure to please the discerning palate. Great cooler weather ale, maybe a bit "intense" on a hot summer's day, but hay it's the nature of a good ale which is bordering on a dark ale. Just fantastic.

I picked up a six pack by mistake. What a great tasting beer, I'm a 150 lashes fan but the 9 tales will be my alternate carton choice going forward

Nice beer to have Autumn or Winter afternoon just chilled not too cold. Not usually a fan of dark ales but enjoy the nutty taste which you don’t get from the Lashes. Shared with friends. Now this beer has gone from our shelves hard to find switching to another brand.

One of the best beers I have had so far. Great taste and reasonably priced!

this is my favourite amber ale, better taste than little creatures. its nutty toasty flavour is perfect for winter
